Srinagar, May 31 (Only Kashmir): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference on Thursday conducted a meeting of its executive members. The meeting was convenedby APHC chairman, Dr Mirwaiz Umar farooq and was attended by the party executive members including, Shabir Ahmad Shah,Agha Syed Hassan-Al-Moosvi Al-safvi, Prof Abdul Gani Bhat, Masroor Abbas Ansari, Mukhtar Waza, Professor Abdul Gani Bhat, and Musadiq Adil.
During the meeting, it was resolved that APHC is the representative of Kashmiri aspirations and lakhs of martyrs who laid their life for kashmir's freedom struggle. The forum declared that it was imperative for the individuals to respect its constitution and views regarding the freedom struggle.
APHC Chairman made it clear that hurriyat's constitution and system is above the individual opinions. Hence, he stressed that nobody will be allowed to violate or trespass it.
The forum said that the APHC's stand regarding the Kashmir issue is clear. It said anybody's individual or party opinion should never be taken as the stand or strategy of APHC.
The participants in the meeting said that it was the prime duty of every individual to respect the hurriyat constitution. They said it was incumbent on every big or small leader to strengthen the APHC.
During the meeting, the members  expressed concern over the situation arisen in the aftermath of  remarks at Botengoo and ruckus at hurriyat headquarters. Taking serious note of the incidents, it was decided that hurriyat chairman would take disciplinary action against the leaders involved in those acts.
In view of the violation of the constitution, of creating ruckus, and issuing irresponsible statements, it was  decided that Prof Abdul Gani Bhat, Nayeem Ahmad Khan,  and Azam Inquilabi should be served a show
cause notice as to  why action should not be initiated against them. They have been asked to explain their position within ten days.
Regarding senior hurriyat leader, Shabir Ahmad Shah, the meeting decided that he would be communicated through a letter whereby he would be informed to refrain from giving his suggestion and issues pertaining to the hurriyat to the media, and instead would be asked to
place them before the forum.
The meeting stressed both general council and executive council members to strictly keep their suggestions or issues within the forum. They were also advised to refrain from doing any such act which would create misunderstanding  among the pro-freedom parties and people of Jammu and kashmir at large.
The participants expressed concern over the internal and external conspiracies to weaken the freedom struggle.
The hurriyat leadership and people have been warned to thwart any such effort  to take forward the struggle of liberation to its logical end .(OK)
