GOVT TO PROVIDE EMPLOYMENT TO 100000 YOUTH
Srinagar, Jan 6 (Only Kashmir): Jammu and Kashmir government will provide employment opportunities to one lakh educated youth in the next three years, a state minister has said.
"As many as one lakh educated youths would be provided employment opportunities in the next three years," Minister for Medical Education R S Chib said while addressing a 'public darbar' at north Kashmir's Baramulla district yesterday.
Chib described Sher-i-Kashmir Employment and Welfare Policy for Youth (SKEWPY) as a revolutionary employment package introduced by the Omar Abdullah-led government.
The minister also reviewed the ongoing developmental works in the district, an official spokesman said.
