MIRWAIZ CONCERNED ABOUT HEALTH OF DETAINED LEADERS
Srinagar, Dec 06 (Only Kashmir): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference has expressed serious concern over the deteriorating health of illegally detained Hurriyet leaders and activists.
The APHC in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, after a meeting of its Executive Committee demanded immediate release of Mian Abdul Qayoom, Ghulam Nabi Shaheen, Aasiya Andrabi, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, Yasmeen Raja and Zafar Akbar Butt.
The meeting was presided over by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and attended among others by Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi, Muhammad Abdullah Tari and Mukhtar Ahmed Waza. The participants paid rich tributes to the Hurriyat leaders for their commitment to the Kashmir cause and their determination to continue the liberation struggle. They expressed the confidence that the day was not far off when sacrifices of the Kashmiri people would bear fruit and they would get rid of Indian bondage.
