JKPCC PRESENTS RS. 1.43 CR DIVIDEND CHEQUE TO CM
Jammu, Feb 22(Only Kashmir): The Jammu and Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation (JKPCC) today presented a cheque of Rs. 1,43,07,500 as interim dividend for 2010-11 to Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah on Wednesday.
The cheque was presented to the Chief Minister by Managing Director of the Corporation, M. M. Gupta.
The Chief Minister expressed hope that the Corporation would further enhance its operational capability and profitability.
Present on the occasion were Principal Secretary Finance, Mohammad Iqbal Khandey, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, B. B. Vyas and Principal Secretary R&B, K. B. Agarwal.
It may be recalled that over the past year or so the Corporation has expanded its ambit of activity beyond Jammu and Kashmir Government and it has got contracts from Central Government agencies like Home Ministry and Power Grid Corporation of India.(OK)
