GHULAM NABI KHAYAL BAGS BEST BOOK AWARD FOR 2010
Srinagar April 27 (Only Kashmir): The J&K Cultural Academy of Art Culture and Languages today announced the State’s highest literary award known as best book award.
Every year, the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah in his capacity as Aacademy president presents these awards for excellence in literature to the authors of the best rated books in the constitutionally recognized languages of the state.
The winners of this highest literary award get a cash prize of Rs 51,000/, a shawl and a memento. Ghulam Nabi Khayal bags this award for his English book Leaves of Chinar. The Editor Only Kashmir Bilal Bashir Bhat expresses heartiest congratulations to Ghulam Nabi Khayal for the honour bestowed by Author of the book and his creation (Leaves of Chinar).
