AJK PRIME MINISTER TO LEAD PROTEST DEMONSTRATION

New York: Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir will lead the Kashmiris protest demonstration against the Indian brutalities and youth killings in occupied Kashmir outside of the UNO on the occasion of the Indian prime minister Manmoham Singh’s address to the UN General Assembly on Monday, Sep. 27, 2010. All Kashmiri political parties are participating in this joint demonstration to show to the world that India is violating her own signed UN mandate on Kashmir.
Since December 1989 Indian forces in occupied Kashmir killed over 100,000 innocent Kashmiris besides widowing 121,000 women, burning hundreds of thousands of Kashmiri homes. In the current phase of the anti-Indian occupation struggle by the peaceful Kashmiris, Indian forces have killed over 100 unarmed Kashmiri youth.
The AJK Premier has appealed to all shades of Kashmiri parties and groups to take part in the demonstration out side of the UNO today on September 27, 2010 and prove to the world that Kashmiris would not rest till the are the return to them of their seized right to self-determination. The Premier during his New York stay in connection with the 2-day OIC meetings on Kashmir met a number of international delegates and apprised them of the latest Kashmir situation. He repeated his stance that Kashmiris want a peaceful negotiated settlement of the dispute, but India in order to perpetuate her illegal occupation of the State has started a new phase of butchering Kashmiris.
The 57-member States of the OIC forum has extended full support to the right of self-determination of Kashmiris. The AJK Prime Minister thanked the OIC forum for reiterating their Kashmir support and urged them to reinforce their moral, political and diplomatic backing to the Kashmiris in struggle.
