MIRWAIZ TO ATTEND SEMINARS OF SIKHS IN PUNJAB & JAMMU

Srinagar Oct 19 (Only Kashmir): Chairman Hurriyat Conference (M), Mirwaiz Umar Farooq will attend seminars to be organized by a Sikh body in Jammu and Punjab regarding the current situation in Kashmir.

In a statement issued here, a spokesman said that a delegation of International Democratic Party, an influential Sikh body, led by President Master Kheta Singh called upon the Mirwaiz at party headquarters late Sunday. “The delegation while expressing solidarity with the genuine struggle of Kashmiris invited Mirwaiz Umar and other
Hurriyat leaders to address seminars in Jammu and Punjab to apprise the people about the situation in Kashmir and the struggle of Kashmiris, which was accepted by the Mirwaiz,” the spokesman said in a statement to Press Bureau of India.
